Prof. JIAO Shuqiang, Vice President of USTB, Professor. He graduated from the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Hunan University, majoring in Corrosion and protection, received a master's degree in material science from Hunan University, and received his Ph.D. degree in Metallurgical Physical Chemistry from USTB. Subsequently, he did postdoctoral research at the University of Cambridge (UK) and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the United States. Afterward, he was hired as a Professor at USTB, School of Metallurgical and Ecological Engineering, Department of Non-ferrous Metallurgy. He is currently Vice President, a member of the Party Committee and the Standing Committee of USTB, and Deputy Director of the State Key Laboratory of Advanced Metallurgy.

Prof. JIAO has served as the Vice President of USTB since December 2022.
