USTB today is covered by the glorious rainbow.

The rainbow means luck and joy. When USTB meets the rainbow, the happy news comes quietly. The evaluation results of the "One Belt, One Road" international science and technology organization cooperation platform construction project of the Chinese Association for Science and Technology (CAST) in 2021 were officially announced. The two projects led by Prof. Qianwei and Prof. Li Xiaogang of our university were selected, achieving a breakthrough of "0" in the "One Belt, One Road" of this project. 

Professor Qian Wei's project "International Organization for the Exchange of East and West Science and Civilization" was selected as the most difficult category, and our university became the only university research unit in this category. Professor Li Xiaogang's project on "Construction of a Material Corrosion Research Center and Talent Exchange Service Center along the Belt and Road" was selected as the second category. The two projects will last for 3 years and the total funding amount is 2.1 million RMB.

With China's "One Belt and One Road" construction and Chinese equipment "go out strategy" to promote the implementation, the globalization of Chinese engineering equipment application is unstoppable, therefore, with Southeast Asia, Europe, Africa and other "One Belt and One Road "countries and regional science and technology organizations to establish cooperation mechanisms, to carry out material corrosion accumulation and share and corrosion big data technology research and development, to improve China's scientific and technological achievements in the "one belt and one road" countries and regions and the influence of the practical application has an important significance.
