The award ceremony of 2020 “Dingxin Cup” International Communication Capability Competition and the Webpage Development Promotion Meeting were held in Administration Building (AD Building) 306. At the award ceremony, Prof. FENG Qiang announced the list of winners and congratulated the winning units. Prof. YAN Xiangbin awarded trophies and honorary certificates to the representatives of each winning units.

The top three representatives of the total score of the comprehensive award - Prof. ZHENG Lifang, Vice President of the School of Mechanical Engineering, Prof. DUAN Xiaoli, Vice President of School of Energy and Environmental Engineering, and Prof. ZHAO Xia, Director of the School of Economics and Management shared their experience of international communication capacity building.

Then Prof. FENG Qiang reported on the international affairs work of this semester. He briefly introduced the promising achievements and existing problems of the English website construction of various teaching and research department of our university, and displayed the plan of revamping the English website of USTB.

Prof. YANG Debin introduced the homepage system construction plan of academic echelon, scientific research team and individual achievements by Office of Information Technology. Prof. YAN Xiangbin said that the international communication capacity building is an important part of the university’s construction and discipline development, and all units need to pay more attention to strengthen collaboration and make serious preparations. Creating an global communication content and platform system with strong coverage and solid contents, so as to make positive contribution to serving the double first-class construction of the university, and thus promoting the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.
