USTB Students Achieved Major Accomplishments in the 2023 National Undergraduate Electronic Design Contest (Beijing Regional)

Recently, the 2023 National Undergraduate Electronic Design Contest has ended. USTB students have won a total of 14 national-level and municipal-level awards, including two national-level 2nd prizes, two municipal-level 1st prizes, two 2nd prizes, and eight 3rd prizes.

The National Undergraduate Electronic Design Contest (Beijing Regional) was sponsored by the USTB Department of Academic Affairs and undertaken by the Electronics Internship Center of the USTB School of Advanced Engineering. Through the selection and preliminary assessment of the intramural competition, a total of 18 teams joined the contest. Under the training, guidance, and organization of Mr. LYU Zhen, Mr. ZHANG Pan, and other instructors, all of the teams were well-organized, working down to earth preparing for the contest, and finally achieved excellent results.

The National Undergraduate Electronic Design Contest is one of the subject competitions for college students, which was held by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Industry and Information. It is a mass science and technology activity oriented to college students. This year, the competition still adopts a semi-closed, relatively centralized organization. The topic was released at 8:00, August 2nd, 2023, allowing each team to choose. After four days and three nights of design, production, debugging, and report writing, the competition ended at 20:00 on August 5th, and the works were sealed. From August 6th to 12th, experts opened their works to test and review.

A total of 1,134 universities from 31 different provinces and cities across the country, 20,939 student teams, and 62,817 students registered for this year's competition. Through the centralized evaluation and comprehensive evaluation, a total of 431 outstanding teams were selected for the final competition at Shandong University. After the rigorous review of the expert group and the approval of the organizing committee of the National Electric Competition, a total of 360 participating teams won the national first prize, and 975 participating teams won the national second prize.

The Competition has been strongly supported by the USTB Department of Academic Affairs and the USTB School of Advanced Engineering. The participating students combined solid theoretical knowledge with innovative practice to implement electronic design into practical programs. In the future, the Electronics Internship Center of the USTB School of Advanced Engineering will continue to provide students with an excellent competition innovation platform and welcome students to participate actively.
