Have you ever thought about going to and exploring other universities? In USTB, if you participate in the exchange student programs, you will have the opportunity to increase your knowledge and experience in two universities and enrich your precious campus life.

Seven excellent exchange students who have taken part in such programs have shared their exciting experience in two universities with us.

Xinyang, Gao: “Face the obstacles and you will find the romance.”

She is the 2017 undergraduate of School of Metallurgy and Ecological Engineering. She went to Hunan University for exchange and study in the fall semester of 2019-2020 academic year, and has now been admitted to University of Science and Technology Beijing.

Bowen, Gao: “Traveling and learning, you can have both.”

He is the 2017 undergraduate of School of Energy and Environmental Engineering. He went to Hunan University for a half-year exchange study in the fall semester of the 2019-2020 academic year, and has now been admitted to Beijing Normal University.

Kaiji, Zhang: “Enjoy the loneliness, and you will cherish the company more.”

She is the 2017 undergraduate of School of Materials Science and Engineering. She went to University of Manchester for exchange and study for half a year in the spring semester of the 2019-2020 academic year, and has now obtained offers from Cornell, UCLA, Columbia and other schools.

Xiao, Lu: “Integration, and compatibility.”

She is the 2016 undergraduate of School of Mechanical Engineering. She went to South China University of Technology for exchange and study in the fall semester of the 2018-2019 academic year, and has now been admitted to University of Science and Technology Beijing.

Zhengze, Rong: “Vast ocean embraces streams to its tide; Norms received promise one far and wide.”

He is the 2018 undergraduate of School of Mathematics and Physics. He went to Central South University for exchange and study in the fall semester of 2020-2021 academic year.

Canmei, Huang: “Pursue changes without fear of challenges.”

She is the 2017 undergraduate of School of Economics and Management. She went to Central South University for exchange and study in the fall semester of the 2019-2020 academic year, and has now been admitted to National University of Defense Technology.

Chen, Li: “Dash ahead to what one yearns regardless of his safety.”

She is the 2017 undergraduate of School of Humanities and Social Science. She went to Tunghai University in Taiwan for exchange study in the summer semester of 2019-2020 academic year, and has now been admitted to China Foreign Affairs University.

No doubt that these valuable exchange student experiences will continue to bring beauty and touch to everyone who has participated in the program, and it will also allow them to meet a better self.
