On the afternoon of September 16^th, the launching ceremony of the USTB’s 2022 publicity and education month of improving the Party's work style and building a clean government and the first lecture of “Rectitude Classroom” was held in the Auditorium & Staff Activity Hall. Mr. DAI Jinggang, Vice Chancellor and Secretary General of the Discipline Inspection Committee, attended the launching ceremony and delivered a themed report. The launching ceremony was presided over by Mr. WU Haowei, Associate Secretary General of the Discipline Inspection Committee and Director of the Discipline Inspection Committee Office.

Mr. WU Haowei introduced the overall arrangement of this year's publicity and education month for improving the Party's work style and building a clean government. From mid-September to October, concentrating on the theme of “welcoming the 20^th National Congress of the CPC,” USTB will organize 21 activities in 8 different aspects, including the "Rectitude Classroom," the "Rectitude Corridor," the Special Education Conference, etc.

At the launching ceremony, the winners of the 6^th USTB  Works Collection in Anti-corruption were announced, and Mr. DAI Jinggang presented awards to the winners. A total of three excellent organization awards, 6 first prizes, 11 second prizes, and 17 third prizes were awarded at the ceremony.

Mr. DAI Jinggang pointed out in his speech that the Publicity and Education Month of improving the Party's work style and building a clean government has become an important brand for the construction of USTB’s culture of rectitude and an important starting point for further promotion of full and strict governance over the Party. It has played a positive role in the formation of a good environment for cultivating talents and ensuring the healthy development of school affairs. Mr. DAI Jinggang stressed that all units should grasp the relationship between epidemic prevention and control, safety and stability of the University, and the development of USTB’s affairs. It’s important to carry out the activity of this Publicity and Education Month actively and steadily, to regard the culture of rectitude as a "long-term project," and to welcome the 20^th National Congress of the CPC with a progressive attitude.

In the following “Rectitude Classroom,” Mr. Dai Jinggang made a themed report. He explained how to understand the historical periodicity from three aspects, and impressed the audience with a better understanding towards the culture of rectitude.

The activity was held both online and offline at the same time. More than 150 people attended the activity, including members of the USTB's Discipline Inspection Committee, heads of the Party Committee of all secondary units, etc.
