In order to support the innovation and entrepreneurship of college students in Beijing, the Beijing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau actively constructs an entrepreneurial service system of "government + market + universities + industrial parks" and formally selected 7 universities and 5 social entrepreneurship incubators in Beijing on December 9th as a carrier. This is the first batch of “Beijing University Students’ Growth Enterprise Market (GEM) Incubation and Cultivation Base”. USTB, along with Tsinghua University, Peking University, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and other universities were selected.

The "GEM Incubation and Cultivation Base for Beijing Universities Students" is a service platform for university students' entrepreneurship created by the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and Beijing Equity Exchange Center. The Beijing Equity Trading Center (BETC) College Student GEM provides professional services such as listing and display, equity and debt financing, standardized governance, incubation, and other professional services for college student entrepreneurial enterprises in Beijing.

Based on the establishment of Beijing University Students’ GEM Incubation and Cultivation Base, USTB and BETC have reached a cooperation agreement. In the future, both parties will give full play to their respective advantages to provide resource liaison, policy support, equity financing and office space for our university students’ innovation and entrepreneurship and other full-service.

In recent years, under the guidance of "integration of thinking and innovation, specialization and innovation, competition and innovation, employment and innovation", USTB has actively built a full-chain innovation and entrepreneurship education system that integrates "education, practice, competition, and incubation". USTB has launched a variety of incubation projects for students, provides comprehensive support in terms of funding, venues, training and project guidance, guides students to solve the actual problems encountered in the process of innovation and entrepreneurship, and cultivates high-quality innovation and entrepreneurship projects. At the same time, USTB gives full play to the collaborate educational strength of local resources, enterprises, alumni, and other resources, actively contacts venture capital institutions, invites experts to provide precise guidance and services, and provides practical help for students' innovation and entrepreneurship.

In the future, USTB will rely on the University Students’ GEM Incubation and Cultivation Base, gather more high-quality policies, information, and other resources, provide more effective support in the healthy development of student entrepreneurship teams, docking with higher-level capital markets. By doing so, USTB can support students’ innovation and entrepreneurship projects blossom and achieve fruitful results.
