On July 22^nd, the commencement ceremony of the EMBA program between USTB and the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) was held at the USTB Auditorium & Staff Activity Hall. Prof. Daniel Himarios, Vice Provost of UT Arlington; Ms. Christina Chin from the UTA International Cooperation Center; Prof. ZHANG Dalin, Vice Chancellor of USTB; Prof. YAN Xiangbin, Vice President of USTB; Prof. GU Wei, Dean of the USTB School of Economics and Management (SEM), Prof. WU Sen, Secretary General of the Party Committee of SEM, Prof. HUANG Xiaoxia and Mr. YANG Zhida, Associate Deans of SEM participated in the commencement ceremony.

Prof. ZHANG Dalin delivered a speech

Prof. ZHANG Dalin expressed warm congratulations to all the graduates. He encouraged them to embrace dreams and forge ahead with determination, explore the truth with ardent love, do solid work and achieve sustained progress, and always keep in mind their mission and responsibility in the era so as to make more contributions to the development of the nation and society.

Prof. GU Wei announced the degree-granting list

Prof. GU Wei read the degree-granting list, including 100 Class of 2020 students, 120 Class of 2021 students, and 120 Class of 2022 students, a total of 340 students with master’s degrees.

The graduates walked on the stage in order. They solemnly received the degree certificate from the School leaders and tutors, accepted the turning of the tassel ceremony, and took a group photo to mark the occasion.
