USTB Selected into the “National Training Base for College Graduates Employability” of the MOE

On October 25th, 2021, the General Office of the Ministry of Education (MOE) announced the list of “National Training Base for College Graduates Employability”, and USTB was successfully selected.

In order to implement the decision and plans of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on “stabilizing employment” “ensuring employment” and consolidating and expanding the achievements in poverty alleviation; the MOE has implemented the “Hongzhi Assistance and Aid Program” to help college graduates from low-income families find jobs in a more adequate and high-quality way, carry out online and offline employability training for college graduates from low-income families to address their shortcomings in job-hunting, employment and other areas. A total of 135 universities were selected as the “National Training Base for College Graduates Employability” and were responsible for conducting offline centralized training. Only 3 universities in Beijing were selected.

USTB has always regards the employment of graduates as an important content of the implementation of the fundamental tasks of moral education, attaches great importance to the precise assistance for graduates from economically difficult families, build the coordination between the university and colleges, and constantly improve the employment assistance mechanism. Sets up difficult student ledger and aiming at the needs of a student to implement policy. Continuous work has been carried out around the “trinity” support system of special economic support for job-hunting and entrepreneurship, special services to improve job-hunting skills, and accurate job recommendation. At the same time, targeted assistance will be provided to ethnic minorities and female graduates. In 2021, USTB will provide “three ones” employment guidance services for those with employment difficulties, namely, one resume revision, one interview guidance, and one set of job recommendations. In the next step, USTB will take the construction of the base as an opportunity to summarize the existing work achievements, continuously refine and deepen employment assistance, improve work effectiveness, promote work experience, and radiate and warm more graduates in need of help with assistance.
