On September 22^nd, USTB held the large-scale career fair for 2024 graduates in the USTB gymnasium. Over 330 enterprises have participated in this event, including China Minmetals Corporation, China State Construction, China Unicom, etc. The participating enterprises cover iron and steel metallurgy, equipment manufacturing, information Internet, and other fields. The activity can provide more than 27,000 jobs for graduates, abstracting over 3000 students. Prof. YANG Renshu, President of USTB, and Prof. YU Chengwen, Vice Chancellor of USTB, went to the venue to learn about the job search of graduates and communicate with representatives of participating enterprises. Mr. LU Chaowei, the Director of the Department of Admissions and Career Services, and other relative personnel participated in the event.

In the first two weeks of school, the fall campus recruitment activity is booming. Up to now, more than 700 enterprises have entered the campus for recruitment. The number of participating enterprises and students for this job fair has exceeded the number of previous fall recruitments. USTB will catch the window period of "Golden Employment Months (Sep-Oct)," and help enterprises recruit into the school. At the same time, the school will do a good job on employment mobilization and assistance for graduates of the Class of 2024, continue to promote employment to tap more market resources, and make the greatest efforts to promote full and high-quality employment for USTB graduates.
