On the morning of February 24^th, the 2^nd Council Meeting of the 11th Systems Engineering Society of China (SESC), sponsored by SESC and organized by the USTB School of Economics and Management, was held in Beijing XiJiao Hotel. Mr. YANG Xiaoguang, President of SESC, Prof. FENG Gengzhong, Prof. DING Xiaodong, Prof. FAN Ying, Prof. HU Xiangpei, Prof. LI Zhongfei, Prof. LIU Xinbao, Prof. WANG Xiaofan, Prof. YAN Xiangbin, Prof. YANG Kewei, Vice Presidents of SESC, Prof. YANG Cuihong, Deputy Chief Supervisor of SESC, Prof. TANG Xijin, Secretary-General of SESC, Prof. FANG Yong, Executive Deputy Secretary General and others participated the meeting. More than 140 representatives of different units attended the meeting.

Prof. YAN Xiangbin presided over the first stage of the meeting and delivered a speech

The first stage of the meeting was presided over by Prof. YAN Xiangbin, Vice President of USTB introduced the council meeting and welcomed the delegates.

Mr. YANG Xiaoguang delivered a speech

In his speech, Mr. YANG Xiaoguang briefed the main objectives and topics of the meeting and extended a warm welcome and sincere appreciation n to the delegates. He then conveyed the spirit of the 6^th Committee of the 10^th Session of SESC.

Prof. FANG Yong made a work report

Prof. FANG Yong made a report on the party construction of the society.

Prof. FENG Gengzhong gave a work report

Prof. FENG Gengzhong, Chancellor and Vice President of the society reported on the next stage of the CPC Committee of SESC. He hoped that committee members could actively support the society's work, interpret the complex issues in the current national development and various challenges humanity faces from the perspective of systems engineering, and contribute to national construction and development.

Prof. TANG Xijin introducd the society

Prof. TANG Xijin introduced the organizations, institutions, work divisions, and leadership of the society to the delegates. He also nominated the Deputy Secretary-General of the 11^th Council and introduced the 2023 Systhink International Symposium.

The second stage was presided over by Prof. TANG Xijin. Prof. FANG Yong reported the work progress of the secretariat of SESC and presided over the review of the general election of branches. At the end of the meeting, the delegates held a lively discussion and exchanged opinions on issues such as organizing the 23^rd Annual Academic Conference and carrying out scholarly communication activities.

The Systems Engineering Society of China (SESC) is a top-level national society. SESC was founded on the initiative of 21 experts and scholars, including Academician QIAN Xuesen, Academician SONG Jian, Academician GUAN Zhaozhi, Academician XU Guozhi, etc. The successful holding of this conference has promoted academic communication and cooperation between USTB and other universities, enhanced the recognition and understanding of scholars in the field of systems engineering at USTB, and elevated the influence of relevant disciplines of USTB.
