On November 26^th, Mr. LI Qingyou, Chairman of Zhongtaihuawei International Investment Co. Ltd., (hereinafter referred to as “ZTHW”), came to USTB for research and exchange. Mr. WU Guilong, Chancellor of USTB, and Prof. ZHANG Yue, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, participated in the activities.

Mr. WU Guilong warmly welcomed the arrival of Mr. LI Qingyou and his entourage. Then, he introduced the history of USTB, discipline construction, and global cooperation. He said that USTB thoroughly implemented the spirit of the 20^th National Congress and the spirit of President XI Jinping's important replies and made every effort towards “Double First-class” construction. He hoped that, in the future, both sides could enhance collaboration in science innovation, social service, and abstracting talent to achieve a win-win situation. Meanwhile, both sides work together to promote higher education and high-quality development and contribute to the building of a strong country and national revival.

Mr. LI Qingyou paid tribute to the USTB scholars' perseverance in overcoming frontier science research and bottleneck technology. He commended the achievements of USTB since its establishment. He expressed that ZTHW will enhance the cooperation with USTB in industry-university-research and take advantage of the enterprise’s social resources to support USTB in conducting scientific research and results transformation, boosting university-enterprise cooperation deeply to help USTB's “Double First-class” construction.
