On October 3^rd, USTB and Hengfeng Bank (Evergrowing Bank Co.Ltd) held a ceremony for signing the strategic cooperation agreement in Room 306 of the USTB Administration Building. Mr. NIE Dazhi, Vice President of Hengfeng Bank; Ms. LI Li, Deputy General Manager of the Financial Institutions Department; Mr. ZHANG Wenli, President of the Beijing Branch; and Prof. SUN Jinghong, Vice Chancellor of USTB, attended the signing ceremony.

Mr. ZHANG Wenli made an introduction

At the meeting, Mr. ZHANG Wenli introduced the background of strategic cooperation and the key orientation of further cooperation. He pointed out that adhering to the principle of “Bank-University coordination, complementary advantages, resources sharing, and mutual development,” Hengfeng Bank and USTB would further establish the talent co-training mechanism, deepen support of scientific research and transformation, as well as conduct cooperation in financial fields.

At the signing ceremony, Mr. LYU Chaowei, Director of the USTB Department of Admissions and Career Services, and Ms. LI Li signed the strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of USTB and Hengfeng Bank, respectively. Prof. SUN Jinghong awarded the plague to the Bank on behalf of the university, establishing a USTB Internship Base.

Mr. NIE Dazhi delivered a speech

Subsequently, Mr. NIE Dazhi delivered a speech on behalf of the Bank. He noted that Hengfeng Bank would take this strategic signing ceremony as an opportunity to actively respond to the national strategy of rejuvenating the country through education, strengthening the Bank-University collaboration, building a brand of education and financial services, and making joint efforts to contribute to the education, science and technology, and talent cultivation for the nation. 

Prof. SUN Jinghong delivered a speech

Later, Prof. SUN Jinghong pointed out that Hengfeng Bank signing a strategic cooperation agreement with USTB was not only a support for the educational undertakings of USTB but was also an important opportunity to promote resource sharing and coordinated development as well as deepen cooperation, which was a key beginning of the deeper and higher-level cooperation between both sides in the future to come. He hoped that University-Industrial cooperation would be further deepened so that both sides would jointly make greater contributions to building an innovative country and promoting the high-quality development of the industry.
