On the afternoon of October 12^th, the launching ceremony of 100 Lectures on Advanced Models of Employment and Entrepreneurship for Graduates among Universities was held in USTB. Mr. WU Xiaojun, the Deputy General of Beijing Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Mr. GE Juzhong, a 2^nd-inspector of the Beijing Municipal Education Commission, Mr. LIU Bingquan, second inspector of the Beijing Municipal Committee of Communist Youth League and director of University and Secondary School Work Department, Mr. KOU Hongjiang, Director at the Publicity and Education Department of Beijing Municipal Education Work Committee, and Mr. WU Guilong, Chancellor USTB, attended the event.

After that, Mr. WU Guilong pointed out in his speech that this activity takes the typical deeds of graduates as the mirror to “set a benchmark” for other graduates, and takes the dedication rooted in the front-line posts as the beacon to guide the graduates to build up their strength. He said that USTB would make every effort to guide graduates to contribute to the comprehensive construction of a modern socialist China, and to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, welcoming the 20^th National Congress of the CPC with practical actions.

After that, the leaders lit up the launch screen and announced the official start of the launching ceremony of the 100 Lectures on employment and entrepreneurship for Beijing college graduates.

Student representatives made a report

Six students from different colleges and universities in Beijing gave reports on their deeds in turn. Mr. ZHANG Aibin, an alumnus of USTB, told his story of “building dreams with his profession and serving in the front-line posts with passion”; Mr. ZHOU Xiaohui, a graduate of the Renmin University of China, told his experience of joining the military as well as the experience after his discharge from the military service; Mr. WANG Ning, a graduate of Beijing City University, told his story of entrepreneurial experience; Ms. LIU Siyu from the Gengdan College, Beijing University of Technology, told her volunteer working experience during the 2022 Winter Olympics; and Mr. WANG Yusong from the China Agricultural University and Mr. WANG Naiwen from the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine gave their online reports. The touching deeds of the speakers aroused strong resonance among the audience.

Personnel in charge of the CPC Beijing Municipal Education Committee, Beijing Municipal Education Commission, Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Youth League Municipal Committee, and relevant departments of USTB, teachers and student representatives, as well as teachers and students from universities in Beijing, attended the presentation report together online.

It is reported that the publicity will be launched in all partner universities in Beijing, and it will last until December.
