Recently, Prof. YANG Renshu, President of USTB led a team to visit and investigate China Metallurgical Geology Bureau (CMGB), China National Gold Group (China Gold), and China Coal Technology & Engineering Group (CCTEG) to implement the plan of "visiting enterprises and creating jobs" and promote the integration of industry and education. Prof. CAI Meifeng, a member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Prof. ZHANG Weidong, Prof. YAN Xiangbin, and Prof. WANG Luning, Vice Presidents of USTB, Prof. WU Aixiang, Deputy Director of the University Council, respectively accompanied the investigation.

Prof. YANG Renshu delivered a speech

During the visit, Prof. YANG Renshu expressed his gratitude to the three enterprises for their long-term care and support toward USTB and introduced the university's development. Prof. YANG pointed out that USTB should thoroughly implement the spirit of President XI Jinping’s replies to all Pakistani students and to senior professors at USTB, strive to cultivate more high-caliber talents with high ideals, professional competence, and strong will to serve the country, further deepen the university-enterprises cooperation, actively explore the talent cultivation mode, and constantly improve the ability of the service industries. He hopes to deepen the collaboration with the three enterprises, promote the combination between the construction of the university supervisor team and the construction of the talent base for enterprises, achieve the combination of talent cultivation, faculty team building, and scientific & technological innovation, and realize the "double transfer" effect of talents and achievements in the service industries.

Mr. NIU Jianhua delivered a speech

Mr. NIU Jianhua, Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of (CMGB) introduced the general situation of CMGB and its reform and development in recent years. He said that CMGB will give full play to its advantages in technology, industry, and talents, strengthen the cooperation with USTB in talent cultivation, scientific research & innovation, and promote complementary and win-win development.

Prof. YANG Renshu had a cordial exchange with Mr. LU Jin

Mr. LU Jin, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Gold accompanied Prof. YANG Renshu and his delegation to visit the exhibition hall of China Gold and introduced the group's historical development and strategic position in the new era. During the discussion and exchange session, he expressed his willingness to deepen the cooperation with USTB by focusing on the three aspects: resource possession, scientific & technological innovation, and talent cultivation, and hoped that both sides could play their respective advantages to promote high-quality development.

Mr. HU Shanting delivered a speech

Mr. HU Shanting, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of CCTEG introduced the current situation and development ideas of CCTEG in detail based on the goal of building a world-class scientific & technological innovation enterprise. He said that on the basis of fruitful cooperation in the past, the two sides should further promote cooperation in talent cultivation, scientific research, result transformation, and other aspects, and jointly create a new win-win situation.
