On February 26^th, Prof. QU Zhongyi, Vice President of the Inner Mongolia University of Science & Technology (BTU), led a delegation to USTB for communication and exchange. Prof. PENG Qinghong, Vice President of USTB, received the delegation. Relevant personnel from the two universities participated in the event. Mr. SHENG Jiawei, Director of the USTB Office of the Party Committee and the USTB Office of the President, presided over the meeting.

Prof. PENG Qinghong extended a warm welcome to the delegation from BTU and briefly reviewed the traditional friendship and cooperation between the two universities. He hoped that the two sides could take this visit as an opportunity to give full play to their characteristics and advantages, further expand the depth and breadth of cooperation, promote mutual benefit, and achieve win-win in the New Year.

Prof. QU Zhongyi thanked USTB for its long-term concern and support for the BTU. He introduced the progress of cooperation between the two universities in discipline construction, talent cultivation, faculty team building, and other aspects since the two universities signed the strategic cooperation agreement last March. It is hoped that new achievements will be accomplished in the future.

At the meeting, participants exchanged views on high-level talent cultivation, organized scientific research, and joint construction of advantageous and characteristic disciplines.

After the meeting, the delegation of BTU visited the Exhibition Hall of Important Reply Letters at USTB.
