On December 15^th, Prof. Jérôme Fortin, President of UniLaSalle-Amiens (France), led a team to USTB for a visit and exchange. Prof. LYU Zhaoping, Vice President of USTB, had a meeting with the delegation. The meeting was presided over by Ms. LI Bei, Associate Director of the Office of International Affairs.

On behalf of USTB, Prof. LYU Zhaoping expressed a warm welcome to the delegation and introduced the school-running achievement, discipline construction, and international cooperation of USTB. He pointed out that USTB had always thought highly of international cooperation and participated actively in Chinese and French education as well as the exchange of science and technology and humanity. Next year will mark the 60^th anniversary of China-France diplomatic relations, as well as the year of internationalization for USTB. He hoped that on the basis of current cooperation, both sides could further enrich the cooperation mode, expand the field of cooperation, and continue to improve the quality of engineering talent training.

Prof. Fortin expressed heartfelt thanks for the warm reception of USTB. He briefly introduced the basic information of UniLaSalle Amiens-Campus, school characteristics, as well as cooperation mode. He noted that under the constant support of UniLaSalle, the Amiens Campus continued to improve the teaching quality of its characteristic majors. Until now, 5 engineer diplomas have been recognized by the French National Council. He hoped to take this meeting as an opportunity to establish intercollegiate cooperation in aspects like student exchange and teacher exchange and further deepen the relationship between both sides.

Subsequently, on behalf of USTB, Prof. LYU Zhaoping signed an intercollegiate cooperation agreement with Unilasalle-Amiens President Jérôme Fortin.

Prof. Mpanda Augustin, Scientific Research Director of UniLaSalle-Amiens; Ms. Cecile Wu, Project Manager of International Relations at UniLaSalle-Amiens; and Mr. MA Cong, Dean of the USTB School of Advanced Engineering, and other personnel from the USTB Office of International Affairs participated in the meeting.
