Leaders of CSCEC-TAISEI Visited USTB for Cooperation and Exchanges

On October 22nd, Mr. XU Tao, Chancellor and Chairman of CSCEC-TAISEI, visited USTB for cooperation and exchanges. The exchange forum was held in the conference room of the Community Complex Building.

At the forum, Mr. WU Guilong, Chancellor of USTB, gave a warm welcome to the leaders of the CSCEC-TAISEI, then the two sides introduced their respective scientific research and business scope as well as the basic situation of university-enterprise cooperation, and have an in-depth and enthusiastic exchanges around the Industry-University-Research cooperation, talent training, internship practice and other aspects.

On behalf of CSCEC-TAISEI, Mr. XU Tao thanked USTB for its attention to this exchange activity and Chancellor WU Guilong for his support to CSCEC-TAISEI. He introduced CSCEC-TAISEI's growth experience, development, and the "14th Five-Year Plan". He said that CSCEC-TAISEI aims to become the “model of high-quality development of Sino-foreign joint venture construction enterprises" and is committed to build a systematic standard enterprise. The two sides have broad prospects for cooperation in talent training, scientific research, and other aspects. It is hoped that the two sides will further strengthen communication and exchanges, promote two-way flow of talents, expand deeper and broader areas of cooperation, and realize common development. Mr. XU also expressed his sincere wishes for the 70th anniversary of USTB.

Mr. WU Guilong spoke highly of CSCEC-TAISEI's contribution to national construction and achievements in the past 35 years. He said that CSCEC-TAISEI is a model enterprise, which always pays close attention to national strategic development and has a thick historical background,. In the future, the two sides are expected to carry out more extensive and in-depth cooperation in areas such as the "Dual-Carbon Goals" strategy, artificial intelligence, basic materials research, talent training and exchange, and actively explore resources for joint construction and sharing for win-win cooperation.
