Executive President Leon Laulusa of ESCP Business School Visited USTB for Communication and Exchange

On April 18th, Prof. Leon Laulusa, Executive President and Dean of ESCP Business School, visited USTB for a communication and exchange meeting. Prof. JIAO Shuqiang, Vice President of USTB, attended the meeting, together with Prof. GU Wei, Dean of the School of Economics and Management, Prof. ZHANG Bowei, Associate Director of the Office of International Affairs, Prof. CHEN Zhicheng, Former Associate Dean of the School of Economics and Management. The meeting was presided over by Prof. GU Wei.

Prof. JIAO Shuqiang briefly introduced USTB's development status, disciplinary strengths, and achievements in international collaboration and exchange. He also attached great importance to this meeting and had high expectations.

Prof. Leon Laulusa introduced the outstanding achievements of ESCP Business School. As one of the top 5 business schools in Europe, the school not only has profound academic backgrounds and rich educational resources but also has established solid cooperative relationships with many first-class institutions in China.

At the meeting, Prof. CHEN Zhicheng, now 91 years old, affectionately recalled his 30-year-lasting friendship with Prof. Leon Laulusa and their mutual support in academic pursuits. At the same time, he shared the history of the international development of the School of Economics and Management. He put forward earnest hopes and suggestions for the college's future international exchange and cooperation. Prof. GU Wei introduced the basic situation and development achievements of the School of Economics and Management in recent years and expressed the sincerity and vision of establishing in-depth cooperation with ESCP Business School. On behalf of the Office of International Affairs, Prof. ZHANG Bowei expressed support for the cooperation between the two universities and stated that this would be a starting point to expand cooperation with ESCP Business School to the USTB's engineering disciplines.

This meeting has built a bridge for cooperation between the two universities. In the future, both sides will continue to promote the implementation of cooperation projects, jointly explore new routes for international education cooperation, and work together to write a new chapter in educational development.
