On May 31^st, Prof. LIANG Yong, Vice Chancellor of the Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE), and his delegation visited USTB for communication and exchange. Prof. HUANG Wunan, Vice President of USTB presided over the symposium. Prof. PENG Qinghong, Head of the USTB Organization Department of the CPC attended the symposium.

Prof. HUANG Wunan gave a welcome speech

Prof. HUANG Wunan extended a warm welcome to Mr. LIANG and his delegation. He pointed out that the Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE) has adhered to its education characteristics over the years and cultivated a large number of talents for the country's economic construction and social development, and is known as "the Cradle of China's financial management experts." USTB was born and prospers by steel. For more than 70 years since its founding, USTB has inherited and adhered to the idea of "strengthening the country through iron and steel, rejuvenating the state through science and education" and made positive contributions to the development of China's iron and steel industry, known as the "Cradle of iron and steel engineers". He said that both universities are directly supervised by the Ministry of Education, and both have distinct industry characteristics. Over the years, cooperation and exchanges between the two schools have been frequent and extensive, and a precious and profound friendship has been forged. He hoped that the two sides could take this visit as an opportunity to further strengthen cooperation in relevant fields, form complementary advantages and jointly inject new impetus into the cause development of the two sides.

After the symposium, members of the group went to relevant departments respectively for in-depth exchanges and understanding.
