Recently, Prof. WANG Weicai and Prof. HE Minqing, former Vice Presidents of USTB, led a team to Tibet to visit USTB alumni. They had an in-depth exchange with nearly 40 alumni.

Prof. YANG Renshu, President of USTB, expressed heartfelt congratulations to the founding of the USTB Tibet Alumni Association. He introduced USTB’s new accomplishments in school construction, talent cultivation, and school running achievements to the alumni. He noted that USTB had always thought highly of the alumni work, actively provided the alumni with a platform for exchange, and continued to strengthen the ties between alumni and USTB, making greater contributions to the progress of the alumni work and to the high-quality development of USTB.

Prof. WANG Weicai, Honorary President of the USTB Tibet Alumni Association, expressed sincere heart and deep feelings towards the founding of the Association. He said that the Tibet Alumni Association would always be a spiritual harbor for alumni in Tibet and also a strong power supporting the development of USTB.
Prof. ZHANG Anyang delivered a speech
Prof. ZHENG Anyang, Vice President of the Tibet University and Honorary President of the USTB Tibet Alumni Association, extended sincere greetings to all the guests and alumni who came there. He said that the alumni would always be the deepest concern of USTB, and the university would always be the strongest backing of them. He expressed keen expectations for the development of the association in the future and hoped that through this platform, the alumni could strengthen cooperation and exchange, deepen friendship, and make more contributions to the development of USTB as well as the economic and social development of Tibet.
Mr. CHEN Yunfeng delivered a speech
Mr. CHEN Yunfeng, President of the association, said that always adhering to the school motto of “Seeking Truth and Promoting Innovation,” the association united the alumni in Tibet, who supported the growth and development of each other and built a tie and bridge between the association and USTB and between the alumni, making contributions on this snowy plateau.

During their travel to Lhasa, the team went to the Liuwu Junior Middle School to visit the volunteers of the Tibet branch of the 25th Postgraduate Teacher Support Team and have a deep exchange with them.
Relevant personnel from the USTB Communist Youth League Committee, Department of Admissions and Career Services, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, Office of the Alumni Association, Office of the USTB Education Development Foundation, and other departments and offices took part in relevant activities.
