On the morning of March 1st, the signing ceremony of the strategic cooperation framework agreement between USTB and the Xiangshan Museum of Founding of New China (hereinafter referred to as “the Xiangshan Museum”) was held in Beijing. Mr. ZHANG Aijun, Deputy Director of the Publicity Department of Beijing Municipal Committee; Mr. XU Zhongyu, Curator of the Xiangshan Museum; Mr. DU Bin and Ms. GUO Li, Vice Curators of the Xiangshan Museum; Prof. SUN Jinghong, Vice Chancellor of USTB; Prof. PENG Qinghong, Director of the USTB Organization Department of the CPC; Prof. ZHANG Ying, Secretary General of the Party Committee, School of Marxism Studies; Prof. SONG Wei, Dean of the School of Marxism Studies; and teacher representatives attended the ceremony.

At the signing ceremony, the two sides watched a video of the demonstration class jointly shot by USTB and the Xiangshan Museum and the video of the Museum’s achievements in 2022. Prof. ZHANG Ying and Mr. XU Zhongyu signed the strategic cooperation framework agreement on behalf of both sides. The signing ceremony is presided over by Ms. GUO Li.
The special-themed exihibition
After the signing ceremony, both sides visited the main exhibition hall and the special-themed exhibition themed together. Xiangshan was the first station of the CPC Central Committee after it moved from Xibaipo to Peiping, the headquarter of the Chinese People's Liberation War toward national victory, and the command post for establishing the central government of people and national structure for the founding of New China. The Xiangshan Museum is the only venue that has a large-scale exhibition that comprehensively displays the glorious history of the CPC Central Committee so far.

The cooperation with the Xiangshan Museum is conducive to promoting the reform and innovation of Marxist theoretical research and strengthening exchanges between the two sides in the research of revolutionary history, the protection and utilization of cultural relics, the publicity of party history and culture, and the employment of student graduates.
